At first, I ordered a 7.5 and they were huge on me! In other shoes I'm usually a 7.5 in other shoes, for instance like shoes from Macy's, but I have narrow feet so my foot slid all the way to the front part and they were literally 1 inch bigger than my other shoes. So I had to order a full 1 and 1/2 size smaller, so I ended up ordering a size 6 and the size 6 fit me perfectly with just a little room (like about a 1/4 inch extra space which is fine because then I can wear them with thick socks in the winter. I probably could have even gone to a 5.5 but then they probably would have been tight and not wearable with thick socks. I had read on another real western wear website that sometimes authentic western cowboy boots do run larger because they size the boots according to mens sizes and that ladies should go about 1.5 sizes smaller then what they normally wear in regular shoes.. I'm not sure if that's the case with all manufacturers because this was my first time ordering authentic western cowboy boots, but this was certainly the case for me when ordering these boots. Again, I'm normally a size 7.5 and I ordered a size 6 and they fit me perfectly. I'm suggesting to you that you can always call them and ask them to measure the bottom, front to back, and then take about a little less than 1/4" for the lip and that would be the foot area. Or you can do what I did, and order 1.5 sizes smaller based on the advice of another western website which worked out perfectly for me.
