 The bucking rolls are two padded pouches(filled with wool) that are added to the front of the saddle seat to supplement the swells and help a rider stay in the saddle. They are created with a curved shape to conform to the contour of the saddle. They're attached to the saddle with saddle strings or screws.

Very nice and easy to install. Holes are not punched for mounting screws, which would be very nice. Center tie leather is adjustable for saddle width.

You get what you pay for. The strap used to tie the two together is a throw away
I had to remove some packing and reshape them.
But they were made in India. What do they know about western saddles!
