Great Deal on Horseshoes and Excellent Customer Service
I bought 50 (25 pair) of the ST. Croix Forge Lite Plain 0 shoes for making yard art, so I can't speak to their quality with respect to using them for their true intended purpose.
But for yard art projects they are great! They are a great size for most projects and are malleable enough to be bent without heating (assuming you have a substantial vise). The mild steel is easily cut and welds like a dream. And I like the fact that they don't have writing on the front.
The best part of the deal was NRS itself. Their prices were very competitive with other suppliers. But, the clincher was that they offered free shipping (over $100). On top of that, they arrived in 4 days. Outstanding! And the icing on the cake was that they will ship to California (unlike some other suppliers).
Overall, super pleased with the product and even more pleased with NRS.
