NRS Used 15.5in Competitor Series Ranch Roper

Well it seems to be built hell for stout! All the stitching seems nicely done and finished with now loose ends spotted, Latigos seem to be high quality, time will tell on that. It sits very nice, seat is plenty deep, cant find any bumps or odd spots in it. The "rough out" is a little rougher than I would like, there are a lot of flesh knots and I found a few slices in one of the fenders where the skinner got a little wild but it doesn't effect the usability of the rig. The fenders took some work to turn, about an hour in buckets of hot water then a 2x4 but I think they are set now. This was a "used" unit but you really had to look to see it, I would rate it as 99% new. I would have like to have seen the rings on every set of saddle strings and would have preferred real sheepskin but that is probably just because I am old school and never owned one that didn't, I'm sure it will wear fine and it probably kept the cost of the rig down. I'll be adding more rings when I can find them and a mule hide hornwrap, it came with a wrap but I prefer a little more diameter and will just use the add on to save the original.

All in all I would buy it again in a New York minute if I needed one, but unless some rummy steals it I expect it will out last me!
