A lengthy review: These babies worked immediately and keep on working with NO harm whatsoever to my big guy. He was front-leg kicking, knocking chunks off the door and scaring the fire out of people walking past his stall. (He's friendly and only wants attention) However damage to his feet/legs and door had me get kick chains.
I had found the fluffy buckled ones that had what amounts to a dog leash for the chains. They worked for a day or two but he stepped on them, naturally, and they broke them into ineffective 3-links.
So looked for heavy duty and found these here at NRS, despite being a dressage rider. Western folks know what works and gets results so I jumped on the Leather Kick Chain (hobble?) They're truly heavy duty, well made; super easy to get on and off. Plus if he steps on them he can tell and moves his foot; and most importantly, they fixed the issue!
Get 'em!
