Such a lightweight and easy steer head to take with you anywhere.

Nice head, rods weren’t threaded.

No issues with the head. Has two metal threaded inserts for the rods, and will probably hold up well. The problem is that the rods that were included were basically 3/8” landscape nails with the heads cut off, and not threaded at all, and that’s way bigger than the threaded inserts. I chucked them in the lathe, turned them down on the ends to .305” and then ran a die on them to thread them, and now they work great, but just be aware that if you don’t have a lathe handy, the rods may not actually connect to the head. You could probably also just buy some all-thread at the hardware store. Threaded inserts were 8x1.25M, so either way, that’s the thread pitch you need on whatever rods you use.
