This NRS Competitor Series saddle is built with heavy oil Herman Oak leather on our Will James Ranch Roper tree with a 3" cantle. This tree is fiberglass covered wood and has a 6 ¾” gullet. The features of this saddle include a lower cantle than our standard Will James, a seat rig, oak and acorn tooling, cheyenne roll, and a 90/10 wool blend lining.The NRS Competitor Series Saddles cater to the needs of competitive riders. When I called NRS I was very impressed with the people who helped me with my purchase of the saddle They were great Thank You !
First The nylon duffle Bag the saddle came in was really nice never saw that before and i have bought quite a few saddles over the years , Impressive ! I love the look of the saddle , and the lighter weight is a major plus , Very comfortable , Rode with it yesterday , I didn’t buy it for roping actually want it for ranch work and riding out on , The stirrup leathers coming out above the skirting , really helps with knee pain belive it or not no stress with this style ! Had a knee injury flares up on long rides . One thing stirrups could be a little wider a little tight !

Great Saddle
This is a great saddle. Was very impressed. However, I ordered the wrong saddle size. Ordered a 15.5 and it was just way too big. NRS measures from swell to seat, not swell to SEAM. I made that mistake. Nrs customer service has been fantastic helping get this fixed and get the right saddle.
