I bought this as a single bed blanket, looking to get back to the feel of when the village knitted blankets from their own sheep, not fine, but good dense wool. I love it. Not only is it quality and warmth, but conjures a restful sleep with thoughts of days gone by. It's not overly fine but a wonderful simple well made blanket with a rustic feel and texture. Love it. I am contacting the company to see if they will make me an oversized for my king size mattress.
