This blanket was exactly what I was looking for to coordinate with my daughter’s saddle! It matches her tack well and is a nice thickness for over another saddle pad. I use a gel half pad over this blanket to provide extra cushion for our senior qh. This blanket is not made to stand alone under a saddle but will work perfectly as a show blanket to give some color/pattern to match my daughter’s tack.

Have an antique western saddle and needed a saddle blanket. The colors were what we wanted and the price was reasonable. The saddle blanket arrived quickly and the colors are bright and the quality is excellent for displaying the saddle. I am not using this on a horse so I am only describing the look and quality for my purpose. Would not hesitate to purchase from this seller in the future.

These are great. I ended up getting two in different colors. It looks like it cost much more. The colors are the overall quality is very good.

It is woven in India from "recycled textile fiber" not New Zealand wool. From the properties of this fabric I would say it is mostly cotton which is extremely absorbent, not what you want for a horse blanket. A horse blanket if it is to be used as one is best made from wool felt or a mostly wool blend. This provides proper wicking, padding and odor resistance.If you want this as a decoration piece or chair pad it looks nice and isn't as itchy as a real wool horse blanket. If yo are going to use it under a saddle, well you get what you pay for.

needed a new saddle blanket i liked this one so i bought and easy to clean

I love the colors of this one, (I bought 2). I was a bit disappointed by the square shape, since the picture kind of gives the idea of a rectangular one. I'm not using this for a horse. I've found horse blankets quite servicable as small rugs in past. Anyway it makes a nice accent rug in my room.

I loved the firet blanket I bought so much I had to have this one for my new mare. I get a lot of compliments on the blankets and really like how easy it is to just throw them in the wash.
