Crafted from 100% pure New Zealand wool, the Mayatex SanJuan Solid Saddle Blanket combines traditional craftsmanship with modernperformance. Measuring a full 36" x 34", this heavyweight blanketoffers exceptional durability, breathability, and moisture-wickingproperties—ideal for both trail riding and the show ring and everything inbetween. Woven on a sturdy poly core for added resilience, it features a flat"no curl" hem that keeps edges neat and smooth ride after ride. Thewool’s natural ability to absorb and hold deep, vibrant dyes results in a widearray of rich, solid colors, making it easy to coordinate with any western showoutfit. Whether used under smaller skirted saddles or trail saddles, thisclassic blanket reflects the quality and tradition Mayatex has been known forsince 1944.

Customers praised this wool saddle blanket for its "vibrant colors," quality, and excellent value. Popular for western show riding, it's described as a thin overlay pad meant to be used over a standard saddle pad. Shoppers noted it "sits well on the horses back" without curling or shifting, washes well, and offers many color options. One concern: sizing may be too large for short-backed horses, and some colors differ from photos.

High quality pad

Very vibrant colors and pattern. Soft material and an excellent brand for a western show pad or just a nice high quality pad to go on top of a plain one to spruce it up. It is a thinner pad, meant to be put on top of a standard saddle pad, would be too thin on its own. Not a lined pad. Shipped well packaged and quickly! Will be back for more products in the future.

Purchased this for the show ring. Looked great under my show tack and matched my show blouse nicely. Good quality at a reasonable price.

Great blanket for the buck!

I have several mayatex blankets and really like them all. They sit well on the horses back and do not curl on the corners or shift around. They wash well and there are so many colors to choose from. You can't get a better blanket for the price. I highly recommend them. I have a wide price range of different blankets from mayatex and like them all.

Perfect

Love the material, fit and color. It is just the right size and thickness to use over my felt pad liner.

Very nice blanket

I was very pleased with the quality and color of this blanket, as well as the weight. Unfortunately, it was too large for my horse who has a short back. I was hoping to find a way to make it work but could not do so. I had to return it.

I received my daughter’s saddle blanket sooner than was projected which was great because we needed it for a Western Pleasure Show. The color was exactly what we needed.

Great Saddle Blanket!

This is a nice thick show blanket--we do use a pad under it! It does look more pink in the add--it's really a bright grape-purple color and it looks great on our black and white horse.

I absolutely love the color! I used it to show with my black horse. It looked very good. Definitely my favorite color to show in.
