    Great.... except

This is a great feeder, except it is very deep. At the beginning I had to put a block of wood at the bottom and then place a container on top of that to hold the feed. Once the filly got a little older and her face was a little longer I could take those items out. The Mare was able to smash her nose against the bars and lick the feed up, pushing it to the two side that no one could reach. The filly is now big enough that she can get to the bottom of the feeder and the mare can not lick the feed up.

At first glance product looks good. When it arrived we quickly found that the design is not conducive for foals. The feeder is to deep so you have to set the bars wider for the foal to reach down in the feeder. By widening the bars the mare can now eat the foals feed. I would not recommend this to others.
