Heavy Loose Ring Smooth Mouth Snaffle Bit

1.4 lbs.--Much heavier than a regular loose ring snaffle. The added weight puts extra pressure on the horse’s poll as the bit hangs on the headstall. This assists the horse in maintaining a lower head carriage. 3/8" x 5" mouthpieces are curved to match the contours of the horse’s mouth. Handmade out of sweet iron with copper inlay. Well balanced, making it more comfortable for the horse to carry.

Great First Bit
Really like the quality and craftsmanship. The best aspect of the design of this bit is the weighted loose ring. The weight works great for added pressure release/response. My young colt does not resist insertion (as he did with others I tried) and is very responsive.
