It will catch.
I like this rope. I am a newer roper and bought this as a practice/play rope (and because I liked the Classic Zoom so much but wanted to try out different brands and ropes). The Revolver is a lot different than the Classic Zoom; the Zoom is larger in diameter, so the Revolver feels much softer and lighter. When I took it out of the twist ties to stretch the rope, it looked like it had a couple of kinks. The length and color are perfect. I have caught a few sheep with the Zoom, but I will probably gift the Revolver to my goddaughter or keep it on the dummy.
