The Dutton Bits Twisted Wire Floating Copper Roller Port Shank Bit presents a refined option for equine communication, tailored for the needs of younger or more seasoned horses alike. With a mild shank design, this bit offers a gentle touch suitable for horses in various stages of training. The shorter shank length provides increased pressure, mimicking the effects of longer shank bits without compromising on control or comfort. Its swept-back leverage promotes flexion at the poll, facilitating fluid movement and responsiveness. Featuring copper rollers and a port design, this bit balances medium severity that is a level up from the smooth bars on the CCL-122 Dutton Bit. Product Number CCL-82-122

Used on three different horses, ranching and heading and heeling .

Decent bit, works great for a person with A LOT of feel in their hands or in a horse that doesn't have a sensitive mouth. Not something I would recommend for a sensitive mouth horse and someone who has heavy hands. Had a rough spot on the left side of the port that i had to smooth up with a belt sander. Otherwise would've received another star.
