NRS Gold 4-Strand Calf Rope

My son enjoys roping with this one. Not too rough on the hands and easy to coil back up. It’s our first rope and I think it’s going to last a few years. It was recommended to us by our rodeo coach and hers is in great shape after several years of use.

My brother (calf roper) was thrilled to get this rope as a Christmas present. We had a “Buccees” Christmas theme this year, and I wrapped it in a fun way. Bucky got roped!

My son switched to these for calf roping after about 3 years of roping. I was Leary because of the wire and afraid it would hold a twist but he has loved them and they are consistent for him.

This rope is really handy, it snaps around the neck smoothly and for those hard runners it really…. Really travels far. I’ve got small hands but I use a 10 and it works plenty. When it comes it already had powder on it. Really appreciate this rope. Get you one!

I have tried many different ropes and I truly love this one! I use the 9.5 & it has fantastic weight but small enough circumference to hold! I love how soft it is and how it curls around the calf/dummy! I bought 1 of these compared to 10 of the Spitfire/Tsunami ropes; they last for so long!!!! I practice on the dummy a lot so I need something that doesn't wear out so fast, well this one was it! Thank you!

It took us a while to find a breakaway rope that my daughter absolutely loves and then she found this one! It’s been a game changer in her roping!!

I'm new to roping so I don't have the knowledge to compare this rope to another, but I can speak to my satisfaction with learning to rope with this Dub Grant. I'm retiring from the Army next year and plan to invest in a small personal ranch. Figured I'd better learn to rope now. The day I receive the rope I watched a YouTube video and walked out to the roping dummy I bought on Amazon. This rope was perfect. I was hitting my roping dummy 3 out of 5 times right off the bat. The rope has a nice rigid feel to it making it easy to throw an open loop. I practiced for about 30 minutes that first day. The next weekend I practiced for about half an hour and was hitting the horns 4 out of 5 throws and I was consistently adjusting my distance and angle. I was even able to figure out the technique for feeding the loop. No complaints outside the price of the shipping. Seemed a little steep, but I had more confidence in buying this rope over one I saw on Amazon.
