For use on calves and goat kids. It is powerful stuff so take caution around eyes, skin and your favorite jeans. Use a wooden applicator to spread a thin layer on the horn bud of the calf or goat kid.The best time is usually on the "younger the better", less than 24 hours old for calves is ideal. It means less stress and faster healing. Then in just a few weeks, the horn growth should stop. It is safe when applied correctly. Wearing gloves is best. Keep in mind this is not recommended for mature horns and we suggest speaking with a vet about alternatives. Active ingredients: Calcium hydroxide 37.8%, Sodium hydroxide 24.9%
