I bought two DD draft halters as a gift for my husband. He has had horses for decades, but he only uses the rope halters, specifically the DD halters. When he bought a draft horse to train to drive, she came with a buckle halter. He does not like to leave a horse in the pastures with a halter on and the buckles are not easy to take on and off, so I bought this draft size for him for a Christmas gift. He has always been happy with these halters and used them for working young horses, handling our stallions, and just everyday work with the horses. He leaves them attached to Brannaman leads, so I had to order two of those as well. NRS is a great source for both products.
