I absolutely loved this product for my horses. I use them to pole bend, breakaway rope, team rope, barrel race, and goat tie. They work well for all of them, and are easily my favorite brand of boots. I have fronts, backs, and bell boots, and use them frequently. I have had my first pair for a few years now and have used them a ton, and they are still in great condition.

I really appreciate the cells on the back of the boots that add extra protection, I think that it protects from over reaching, as well as the wear and tear that splint boots endure normally. The fit of these boots is phenomenal, and they are easy to put on. I find that they wrap around the cannon bone naturally, and cradle the fetlock in a supportive and well-fitting manner. I also really appreciate the pad that goes on the inside of the leg. It makes it easier to line up the boot and adds some extra cushion and compression for my horses. The pad also makes them easier to put away, as fold the boot loosely instead of rolling it tightly as I would other boots without pads in them. This ensures that the pad will not be bent, and prevents unnecessary curling of the boot that makes it harder to put on.

Additionally, the color match between the splint boots and the bell boots is phenomenal. I have bought the same color/patterns of other brands, and the colors never seem to quite match. The bell boots can never seem to be the same color as the splint boots due to the difference in material. Flexion by Legacy does not have this problem at all. My bell boots match my four splint boots great, and add some great eye-appeal.

All in all, I have thoroughly enjoyed this product. While a bit pricey, I think that you get your money’s worth considering the quality of the boot. I recommend these to anyone who is looking for a new brand, and use them for everything. They wear well, and have a nice stretch to them that makes them very versatile from horse to horse. While I have had problems finding a good size for my barrel horse in the past, these solved my problem and fit him great. I don’t run him in anything else!

I love the way these stretch around the leg. They have more flex for sure.

I like these better than the regular Legacy boots.... but I wish they weren't so thin. The old design was so much better.
