Wrap a measuring tape around your head, placing it where the hat should sit, typically at the middle of your forehead and about 1/8" above your ear. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tight. Check your measurements below; if you fall between two sizes, size up.

First poli rope hat… TBD in the rain!

This is a well made hat; feels quite strong! There are some random knots in the material that landed on the brim edge: which make them stand out like a defect.

Unfortunately, the shaper got a little creative on this hat and my Minnick and the uneven JB brim looks like the leaning tower; boy this hat was shaped in a hot mess! I will try my hand at shaping and maybe even pick up a new skill.
