I've had a couple of these hats. They last a long time, fit true to size and come with a great shape. American hat makes the best straw hats on the market!

Wonderful hat. Very happy with the purchase. I was a little nervous with the size since I didn't have a chance to actually try on an American, but the hat had no size issues whatsoever. They absolutely nailed it. Fit, styling, and overall quality are all GREAT!

Straw hat is shaped the way I like it. I only gave it three stars, because at the points of the crown one point of a crown is just a tad bit higher than the other, not noticeable while you’re wearing it but if you set it on a table crown side down you can definitely tell that there is a Slope it’s tilted one way more than the other not even other than that good hat American made

After weeks of searching I was thrilled to find a replacement for my 20 yr. Old American panama. NRS had my size in stock and I received it in a couple days. I was heartbroken when my hat arrived destroyed by UPS but the customer service staff at NRS took care of me and sent a replacement. It's a pleasure to work with Texans.

I like this hats

I absolutely love this hat. The venting in the hat makes the hat incredibly comfortable to wear. I also like the the sweatband. Overall, the hat is a great hat that I should have many adventures while wearing for a long time.
