Wrap a measuring tape around your head, placing it where the hat should sit, typically at the middle of your forehead and about 1/8" above your ear. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tight. Check your measurements below; if you fall between two sizes, size up.

Not a bad hat

First let me say that I do love American hats ! They are durable and lightweight. I am a heavy user of my straw each year and they always seem to take the abuse. This one in particular had some issues with shaping. There were some inconsistencies with one side and the back. I suspect from shipping, so I have spent quite a bit of time trying to get it adjusted just right.. still would recommend

Love the American Hats

Just received my new hat, got it shaped up and ready to go for the summer. American Hats are good quality and look great but I wear mine out on the ranch daily. This particular hat looks great and well vented for those hot days.
