American Hats Co 10X Black Open Crown Felt Cowboy Hat

Hat is good quality. Was shaped as I requested. One note, I think that the American felts are a tad smaller than the straws, maybe just my opinion. My American 7 5/8 straws are a perfect fit new. This felt is a tad small but will work out in time with wear.

I recently purchased a new American 10X black felt hat from NRS Decatur over the phone and I love it. I live in TN and if I can’t shop in person I will shop from the catalog on the phone with a live person. I’ve been wearing American hats for 40 years and this hat didn’t disappoint. I haven’t ridden in it yet but I’m confident that it will stay on. However, unless my head has grown a lot over the years, I feel like the American hats are running a little smaller. I used to wear a 7 but I’m now wearing a 7-1/4. I also want to add that the operators are always knowledgeable, patient, helpful and friendly.
