This is my first American hat company hat so far I love it. It is a softer straw then the other AHC straws I have handled so do note that if you plan to order one.

Arrived creased as ordered and undamaged. Fit was perfect following America hat co. size guide. This was my first American hats. Resistol has been my go to for the last half decade. Will definitely be trying their felts next. Thanks NRS

I have lots of straw hats. This ACH is by far my favorite to keep the California sun off me. The ventilation on the 5050 is awesome, since my head tends to get extra hot during the summertime.
The quality and workmanship is above all others.
It is pretty expensive for a straw but it is an investment.
I will definitely be getting more AHC straws in the future.

The hat was what I expected. Nice and light weight for summer. Turn around time on shipping took a while which I was fine with since I knew from a previous purchase that the hat shaping department was many orders behind. Opened my box to find a fairly poor shape job done on the hat. Just going to chalk it up to the thinness of the hat material.

Overall the hat is great. The side creases were a little deeper than I would've liked but not being there I don't get to complain on that. The brim is a little warped in the front which may have happened in travel but not warped enough that it's even an issue. The only thing that I would like for my next American Hat purchase is have the American Hat and +x patches included in the box. After ordering I emailed customer service and asked it they were included. The representative Amanda was outstanding. She was very quick to respond. She let me know that they didn't come with my hat but could be sent out. She also reached out to me once they were sent out. Overall I was very happy with my purchase and the way my order was handled.

Received the hat and it was exactly what I expected. The crown and brim was shaped just how I like it. The hat fits perfectly.

That hat is great and love the shape. The front brim leans down to one side but I'll stop in Decatur next time I'm in the area to have it tweaked a little.
