Looks great and the creases were perfect…I went with the Gus/showmanship look. My wife and daughters love it and all want the same hat.

Nice to find this hat in a size 8. It is Pecan which is a nice change from brown or black. Has a 5"-brim which I had shape in a Cool Hand Luke style and a 6"-crown which I had shaped to a Minich style. The shaper has one dent a little smaller than the other, but I can fix it. It is nicely lined in brown and has a full all leather brown sweatband. The hat fits great and give me a feeling of confidence when I wear it. I trimmed it with a 3/8" Leather Braided Ribbon English Bridle by EllisLeatherCo. Sold on Etsy. Rodeo King makes a quality hat that will be worn for many years to come. I am glad NRS sell this hat and 7 other styles in size 8.

Good solid work hat. I own a show hat that is a 50x and there is definitely a difference, but this is a really good hat for a moderate price. My one objection was sizing, I've been a Resistol guy, had a few Stetsons that I've worn out, and this one was a full size smaller than either of them. Nothing that a hat stretcher and a bunch of steam couldn't fix, but this was the one thing that was different. Order a size up if you use either of those competitors.

Finally, I ordered this one evening and got the ship notification the following morning. I figured that they NRS must have forgotten to shape it, no way they could have done it that quickly. But it arrived in days and was shaped exactly like I wanted!

First I have to start by saying there's no stores around where we live that sells anything western really.so fishing for a new brand of hat was a little worry some having to rely on online.. I called up NRS and spoke with a kind young lady named katie and described my situation to her,long story short she helped me relay a message to cut down the brim a touch for me and get it shaped up how I like it.and their work is superb! Super happy with it,and thank y'all at NRS and special shout out to Katie - your the best & thank you!
