Nice leather
This headstall is made with really nice leather. It comes oiled and feels great. The buckles are just as pictured and look nice. The headstall is a bit lighter in person than it is online- it’s a few shades lighter than the dark oil reins I purchased to go with it. I’d almost call it a light oil color. The buckles sit in a weird place on my mare (right below her eyes), but she’s a 13.3h POA, and finding tack that fits her is usually a challenge. Overall, this is a great quality piece and will work for what I bought it for.
