The EasyBoot Glove Soft is part of the performance line from EasyCare designed to be a lightweight, low profile boot that is form-fitting and easy to take on and off. This boot has a new and improved soft elastic gaiter.Like a glove, the boot hugs the hoof and responds like a natural foot. The Easyboot Glove stretches over the hoof without adding bulk and clings to the hood to keep debris out, even in muddy and sandy conditions. An elastic cap at the rear extends the gaiter and hugs the bulb of the heel to offer stretch and strength. A Fit Kit is recommended to determine proper sizing for the Easyboot Glove Soft. We have designed a wide version of the Glove which works well for wider shapes.I ordered Gloves for my horse but the gaiters do not fit around his pasterns. They appear to be too short. What can I do? There are two reasons why the gaiter might be too short. The heel is too high for the boot or the horse has a very large heel bulb. Because of this, the gaiter does not fit properly. We recommend you find another boot in the EasyCare line. You have a large-boned horse. In this case, take a look at our gaiter extension accessory.Can I wear studs with the boots? Yes. The Quick Studs work well, most riders add four studs to each boot.Can I use pads with my Glove boots? We only recommend using the 6mm (1/4") pads. Anything thicker will compromise the fit.All screws are replaceable and an Easyboot Glove Screw Set is available for purchase.What are the uses for the Power Strap? There are many uses: The Power Strap helps stabilize the boot in extreme conditions such as speed events, deep mud, highly varied terrain, rocky ground, steep hills, etc. When properly applied, it helps the boot fit better at the top, giving a completely snug fit. This also helps debris stay out of the boot. The Power Strap is handy when you want to be able to see the boots better on your horse’s feet or to mark them for individual horses (or hooves).
