Exactly...
...what I was looking for. I ordered my usual a 7 3/8 hat size on-line which shipped very quickly and was expertly boxed. Unfortunately the hat was slightly too tight when I tried it on. I drove to the NRS store in Decatur and easily exchange it for a 7 1/2 with a little custom-fitting help. The fitting expert explained that since all hats are hand-made, the fit does vary slightly for a give size.
I wear this hat when doing yard work in 90+ degree heat here in North Texas. This Williston style has the great venting that I was clearly missing on the previous hats I have worn, and what a difference that makes. Unsolicited, my neighbors have complemented my new Stetson... they still seem to have the same opinion of me however (ha ha).
