I bought these boots almost specifically for the fineline sole. It was the only Anderson Bean boot I found that I thought looked good and had a sole with good traction. I figured a leather sole wouldn’t last long on a motorcycle and not be “grippy” enough on roofs and other construction sites. These work well for those purposes. They’re kinda expensive. That’s probably because the ones I got are elephant and not smooth ostrich. That’s why I took the star off. These are heavier than normal leather sole boots. I’m pretty sure the sole is the culprit. Nothing crazy, just heavier than normal.
